USCCA Basics of Pistol Shooting Class
Length of Class :3 hours
Tuition Cost: $125 (Includes Textbook/student packet and range fee.
Description:
The USCCA Basic Pistol Shooting Course introduces students to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. Through this course, the students will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, pistol shooting fundamentals, and pistol shooting activities.
What You'll Learn
· Essential gun safety rules
· Different types of pistols and which one is best for you
· The basics of ammunition
· The fundamentals of pistol shooting
· Different shooting positions
· The most common shooting errors
· How to maintain your skills
*This is NOT a License to Carry (CHL) class. That class is offered separately. This class IS recommended prior to attending an LTC class. *
What to Bring:
1. Driver's License
2. Pen/Paper for Note-taking
3. You bring your own semi-automatic pistol (make sure it's one you can operate easily!) and ammo (at least 50 rounds) in a case or rent for a fee. If you need to rent a gun, please arrive at least 15 minutes early to do so.
Ammunition must be commercially-produced and only brass casing.
Please leave all ammunition at the gun counter when you arrive - you may bring your unloaded/cased pistol to the classroom.
4. Eye/Ear Protection - may purchase/rent as well.
